Bone Marrow Donors Needed!

This is for Mike Ludlow -

Mike was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) on Nov. 14, 2003. Several different treatments have not cured the disease. He is literally fighting for his life and is in desperate need of a Bone Marrow Donor. His family is having a bone marrow drive to hopefully find a match. The more they get to be tested the more likely they will be to find a match. Please join me in an attempt to find a donor. Ask everyone you know to help.

The bone marrow drive is on Saturday, August 14 from 9-5. It will be held at the Wellness Community at 4918 Cooper Road in Blue Ash. You need to take a picture ID and contact information for two close friends or relatives AND a willingness to help others in need. There is no cost to have your blood tested - the family was able to secure corporate funding so the $65 fee will be covered. Tax deductable donations will be accepted by anyone. They should be made out of NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program). Note; Mike Ludlow Marrow Drive and mailed to Kevin Meyer 3130 Highland Avenue Suite 4019 Cincinnati, OH 45267-0055. His phone number is 513-558-1891 If you have any questions.

If you are from out of town you can go to your own blood bank and give them information. It may be free in your town especially if the Red Cross does your blood drives. 'Time is of the essence. Also if any one knows a person with American Indian blood in their family this may be the ticket. Mike's Great Grandmother was native American Indian.
